Butterflies and Bella

Zach and his friend Bella met at the Arboretum on Saturday for the Butterfly Brigade.  It was a chance to learn about the changing of a caterpillar to a butterfly - I think the parents got more out of it then the kids.  The treat for us was the opportunity to take home a caterpillar and watch the life cycle at home.  (Although, the teacher didn't guarantee that they would ALL turn into butterflies.)  Supposedly in three weeks, we will be releasing a painted lady butterfly into the wilds... of Monrovia.
