Back-to-School Night

The 2015-16 school year is in full swing.  We attended Back-to-School Night, which is just the annual anxiety inducing event for me because I see how much work lays ahead now that I have two children fully in elementary school.  I had to spend at least an hour today trying to understand their curriculum, calendaring their lives, signing up to volunteer and organizing how to organize their assignments.

This also gives us a chance to see their early class work.  Josh read Wemberly Worried which is a book about a mouse that worries about everything (it must be my biography).  The kids had to come up with their own interpretation and Josh created a maze that said, "I am worried about getting lost".  This just made me laugh because all the other kids had something more obvious and simple, but not our Joshy.
Zach, in theme of his Harry Potter obsession, mentioned Harry Potter in every project that was put around the room.  This is apparently what he would have on his iPhone's background, if he had one.
