Trimming the Tree

Last weekend we got our Christmas tree and spent Saturday afternoon listening to Christmas songs and decorating.  The boys were helpful in unpacking all of the ornaments and hanging them on the tree. It was fun to see all of the ornaments we have collected from our vacations.  It's a a nice way to reflect on how blessed we have been.

Also, per family tradition, the boys get a personalized ornament each year.  This year we had to get Zach a Harry Potter themed one and Josh one reflecting his love of Halloween and all things scary.

 

The results were exactly as we had hoped.
