We took a quick trip up to Arrowhead this past weekend and was so happy to have my mom join us. Mom fit right in.... she took walks, relaxed and joined in all of the games. She's almost beat the boys in Catan:
The boys also spent lots of time with their Legos. It's nice to see that their creativity and imagination continues to remain engaged in such a simple toy. Also, we have about a million pieces so they will be required to play with them until they are 25 and we get our money's worth.
Although this looks like Zach playing with Chris' iPhone, it was actually a sweet moment of a father-son March Madness discussion.
It was a long overdue trip and much needed...
