End-of-Summer Party

I don't know where the time has gone but life has been extra hectic these past few weeks.  Outside of overcommitting to the PTA, normal family stuff and my 32-hour a week job turning into one where I'm clocking in a ton of overtime...  we decided to have a party a couple of weeks ago. Why?  Why not?!

It was a reason to see friends we haven't seen in a while and a chance to use the pool before it got too cold... although in Los Angeles, that never happens.  To spice things up, we had a taco truck and pinatas...

yes, plural pinatas.... because one is never enough and because after the first one kids were crying.  Luckily, we had a back-up to make everyone good and sugared up.
