This is a total #privilegedpeopleproblem, but I didn't realize the number of decisions you have to make when doing a renovation. Deciding on the size of a bench or where a plug goes is becoming tedious. I'm afraid I'm going to make the wrong decision and end up with a lopsided home. I'm trying to protect the family from the pain of these little annoyances such as... which flooring looks the best for the least amount of money. After 5 minutes in a tile store, my brain wants to shut down because everything starts to look the same.
While I "suffered", Chris took the boys to the Petersen Automotive Museum:
This was much more entertaining then studying tiles and granite materials.
