When it Rains...

... we go to the LA Zoo.  Here's the thing, we HATE crowds.  We're the first ones at Legoland or the Zoo or Target or Trader Joes or.... you get the point.  So you give us an overcast (and potential thunderstorm) day we think of heading to the Zoo because no one will be there.

Although we were right about it being less crowded, we somehow saw three different people we know.  Clearly, we hang out with people who are cut from the same cloth.  The highlight of the trip before having to escape the major down pour was the new LAIR part of the zoo.  We were impressed with the reptiles and it was amazing to see a new favorite - the Chinese salamander. 

The boys got to play with some new creatures they have introduced to Los Angeles...
