We Made It!

Last Thursday was the big day... Zach made it to four weeks and got his cast taken off.  I am happy to report there was nothing gross growing in there or any food stuck beneath.  Despite it getting soaked a few times all was well.

 

Zach was excited to get his cast removed but once it was off he was quiet and a bit shocked.  I don't think he was quite ready to feel the weird sensation once it was gone.  We, of course, celebrated how great he was with the cast.  Aside from the first day, we didn't hear a single complaint from him over the whole four weeks.

Zach is such a sweet boy.  When we were getting ice cream for getting his cast off, he said, "Mom, we are always celebrating me.  When do we celebrate Josh?"  He's so thoughtful...
