Gardening...

I forgot to mention we spent some time gardening in our backyard too.  With Spring here, the flowers are starting to blossom into fruit.  It's just so neat to witness the process:

This picture shows our rangpur limes, blueberries, kumquats, cherries and strawberries.  My favorite find was seeing that my avocado tree had mini fruits.

I may have shed a tear when I found this.  I grew up with an avocado tree and always took them for granted until I was an adult and had to buy avocados myself.  That's when I discovered that they charge $3 for the size avocados that grew on our tree.  Although we are far from that, I could see many bowls of guacamole in my future.
