Student of the Month

We were notified by Zach's teacher that he was going to be announced as Student of the Month.  We went out of our way to make sure we were present for this announcement on a Friday at 9:30AM.  We were there because of our guilt and but mostly because we knew every other parent would be present.

Zach looks miserable in this picture because they had been standing in what felt like 95 degree weather.  We were glad to be there to support him but even happier because he would have been the only kid without a family member to cheer him on.  I love our city...
