Zach has always been our avid reader with Josh sort of just lingering on the fringes. Josh reads because he has to read but never for pleasure... well, scratch that because something finally clicked. It turns out we just had to turn Josh on to scary books for children and he would convert. We went to the bookstore and Josh picked out a Goosebumps book. I am so proud of how good of a reader he has become. The only issue is when I'm trying to get him out of the car and he refuses until he has finished the chapter.
I guess this is a good thing but sometimes you just want the kid to listen to you and get out of the car.
