Driving to work something reminded me about all the free summer concerts that are around town. I rushed home after work, picked up the boys and threw together a little picnic. We drove down to the Levitt Pavilion in Old Town Pasadena for their children's music night. It was nice to throw down a blanket and have dinner as the sun was setting.
The boys enjoyed it and are ready to go again next week. They were disappointed to know that only one "band" was playing tonight. These children's bands are all a little quirky but I'll do anything to brainwash my kids a little about outdoor concerts.
