Father's Day

Nothing better than celebrating Father's Day at one of Chris' favorite places... Arrowhead.  We had no specific plan while up here.  It had been since December when we had last been up, so we were long overdue to loaf around.  The boys and kids spent time swimming in the lake.
Chris also fulfilled his need for speed with a little bit a of a Nascar moment.
We also got to spend some time with our friend's dog, which made me see first hand that dogs are just like kids.  They can be sweet and fulfill you, yet they are a lot of work and can be expensive.  Next time I get the urge for a dog, I will remember this weekend.
We ended the weekend with a date night at the Hollywood Bowl dancing like we were 18 again... although we felt the aches later.  It was a blast and good chance to see there are people even OLDER than us rocking out like they were kids.
