Proud Pilgrim

The day of Josh's Thanksgiving show finally arrived.  He has been so excited and proud to sing all of the songs.  I'm not sure if this picture does justice but Josh stood tall and proud and sang DIRECTLY at us:

While the other kids were distracted or looking at the teacher, he serenaded us with all things turkey and military.  These are first-graders so I understood kids looking around and getting stage fright, but Josh did not miss a beat.  This is why I keep wanting the boys to do theater.  They will be more successful in performing arts than in sports.

It's these moments why you re-arrange your work schedule to be with your kids.
