The Olympics haven't even started but we have Olympic Fever in the house. We had the boys watch the Track & Field trials which turned into Zach hosting his own Olympics. He's gone into great detail to recreate different sports. He has taken Tinker Toys (which by the way are the greatest toys we have ever had because they get repurposed every few months into a new creative toy) and turned it into Olympic sports. Below is Josh doing the hammer throw (made out of Tinker Toys)... I know it's a terrible photo but I was warming up for my turn.
My favorite is Zach using the bocci ball as a shot put.
We are staying up in Arrowhead for a week once the Olympics begin. We will be camped out in front of the television watching every sport they show. Yes, we did schedule our time up there on purpose. We are a family that loves the Olympics.
