My life is inconsistent right now and this organized/scheduled mother is doing her best to not go nuts. The "plan" is for every Friday to be Camp Mommy. Our first outing was to the La Brea Tarpits because the kids have been into Jurassic Park and dinosaurs. Well, as Zach pointed out before arriving - the Tarpits are more focused on the Ice Age and not dinosaurs. Despite being completely ignorant about that, the boys seemed to learn a few things...
like there is no sabertooth tiger, just a sabertooth cat which we learned from this docent.
My personal favorite part was going to the original Farmer's Market and getting lunch.
This outing was about 3 weeks ago, which shows how all over the place I am that it's taken me this long to post these photos. It also shows that this was the last time we had Camp Mommy.
