Getting Our Culture On

So after an exhausting Saturday, we kept to a fairly mellow Sunday.  After errands and lunch, I took Zach to the Norton Simon Museum.  His school has been teaching him about different artists so it was a perfect opportunity to get in some culture. 

Zach took a class on Botticelli.  It was an opportunity to learn about another artist and do some art himself.

Zach has always been my little man.  We had such a great time walking around and talking about art and artists.  After picking out his favorite piece in each room, it seems like he has an affinity for sculptures.  He appears to be a fan of Henry Moore's work with "silly heads".

We will be definitely returning.  With the two of us being "free" (I'm a student!), I will continue to shove culture in front of him at every chance.
