Natural History Museum

The boys and I checked out the updated NHM yesterday.  I have never been much into dinosaurs or fossils but I was impressed by what they have done and we had fun exploring the new areas.

This is what happens when you try and take a photo of the three of us and a life size whale in the background.

The kids got to see how a snake senses heat...

... and what it is like to be a weaver bird.

All in all, it was a surprisingly good time and it was FREE for me as a USC student.  See, it does pay off to go back to school and take out thousands in loans to save on $10 admission.
